And that’s particularly the case when you consider just how much technology and functionality is found inside.
Our lone 9 person swim spa, the RecSport R220, has a footprint of just 8.27m², and holds 4090L of water. It boasts a wealth of hydromassage seating, with enough room left over for a swimmer in the main pool area, even when every seat is taken.

Don’t let size fool you – our 2 person spas offer almost all the features that you’ll find in larger spas but at a fraction of the cost.
In choosing a Hot Spring compact spa you not only secure a feature-packed unit at a lower price but you also enjoy lower ongoing costs such as electricity and maintenance. The full foam insulation we use across all Hot Spring spas means that most of our 2 person spas can run on a standard 10 amp/240V power outlet. Maintenance is quick and easy, and you’ll use less product in caring for your water.
The cost of your 2 person Hot Spring spa will depend on a variety of factors including size, model, functionality, features and optional extras.
Best 2 person spa placement
As compact, portable, self-contained machines, Hot Spring 2 person spa pools can be placed in a wide array of locations. Compact 2 person outdoor spas can be placed where larger models can't, like in the corner of a small deck or on a balcony. They can be positioned on decks, pavers, concrete – pretty much any strong, even surface. 2 person indoor spas can be placed in a sunroom or an enclosed verandah. A little bit of excavation can turn your Hot Spring into an inground 2 person spa pool.
Our machines have been installed in every configuration you can think of (and a few you can't!) Provided the surface is level, there's access to water and power, and the spa can be drained, the choice of location is entirely yours.

We purchased a Freeflow Spa around 8 years ago from the Albany Showroom after meeting Verla. She was so very knowledgeable and gave us so much confidence in the quality of the product. It turned out to be a great decision. That spa saw us survive multiple COVID lockdowns and was so easy to maintain. It cost us very little in power. When we moved house we left the Excusion there and inherited one. It was a cheap spa, noisy, smelly and expensive to run. We missed our Hot Spring. As our kids are now older we decided to treat ourself to a smaller spa from the Highlife Range and went with the Jetsetter LX. We have no regrets. The motor massage is spectacular, we love the Salt System and don’t need shower after a spa anymore. The IQ system is very clever and user friendly. We’re stoked with the upgrade and couldn’t be happier with Hot Spring. In our opinion it’s been worth the investment.

Whilst not an owner of a Hot Spring spa ourselves, we rented a bach with one recently and unfortunately had a mishap when removing the cover and accidentally snapped two of the plastic latches that connect the cover to the spa. I rang the customer support number and found Beatrix to be incredibly helpful and supporting of the situation, offering to send replacements to the bach owner at no cost. It was wonderful service and ensures we will definitely fancy a Hot Spring if we get one of our own!
