Watch and Win Terms and Conditions of Entry

The Hot Spring® Spas New Zealand Limited (NZCN 108700) Watch & Win Spa giveaway (Giveaway) is exclusively in partnership with Black Clash (together, the Promotor).    

Any information on how to enter the Giveaway forms part of these terms and conditions of entry (Terms and Conditions). Entry into this Giveaway is deemed acceptance of the Terms and Conditions.    

Who can enter    

Entry is open to all permanent residents of New Zealand who have fulfilled the requirements set out in the Terms and Conditions.    

Participants must be over the age of 18 at the time of entry. Employees of the Promotor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, and promotion agencies, as well as their immediate family members or household members, are not eligible to participate in the Giveaway.    

How to enter    

The Giveaway will run from 17/01/26 at 5:00 PM to 18/01/26 at 5:00 PM (NZDT). Entries received after this closing time will be ineligible for participation.

To enter, participants must watch or attend the Black Clash event on 17/01/26 (Event). A secret code word will be announced during the Event, both through the broadcast and in person by the Promoter’s representatives at the Event. The prize advertised on the broadcast and mentioned at the Event is the same prize under this Giveaway.

Upon hearing the Code Word, participants must visit hotspring.co.nz and complete the official entry form, providing their full name, email address, mobile number, and the Code Word. Participants must only enter their own name and participants with multiple entries may have all entries invalidated. Incomprehensible and incomplete entries may be deemed invalid.

Draw   

The prize includes a Hot Spring® Hot Spot® Propel model (RRP $23,565), along with the following accessories: Cover Cradle (RRP $995), Freshwater™ Ozone Sanitation System (RRP $995), Polymer Steps (RRP $595), delivery ($400), power cord ($150), and a chemical start-up kit ($250) (Prize). The total value of the Prize is NZD RRP $26,950 (including GST) as at 10/12/25.

One (1) winner will be selected at random by the Promoter on 26/01/26 from all eligible entries. The Promoter will ensure that all eligible entries have an equal chance of winning the Prize. The winner will be notified via the contact information provided on the entry form within three (3) business days of the draw. The selected winner must respond within three (3) days of notification.

Failure to respond or meet the eligibility criteria will result in disqualification of entry. The Promoter may conduct a further draw on 02/02/26 at 11:00 AM and an alternative winner will be chosen following the same selection process as described above.

Delivery of the Prize is supplied by Hot Spring® to a 50km distance from any Hot Spring® retailer or dealership. Any distance beyond 50km from one of these locations will be charged to the winner at the standard delivery rate nominated by the Promoter (acting reasonably) (Delivery Payment). By agreeing to the Terms and Conditions, the winner agrees that the Delivery Payment may be requested by the Promoter subject to the delivery criteria above.

Further Terms and Conditions   

The Promoter reserves the right to request the winner to sign a winner’s deed of release (and indemnification) or any other relevant forms or agreements that the Promoter deems necessary. The Promoter may request the winner to provide proof of identity, age, permanent residency at the nominated Prize delivery address and/or entry validity in order to claim the Prize. Providing proof for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter (acting reasonably). If suitable proof cannot be provided, the winner will forfeit the Prize and no substitute will be offered.

The Promoter reserves the right to conduct a redraw if a participant claiming to be a winner is unable to satisfy these Terms and Conditions or has breached them.

The Prize is not redeemable for cash or transferable. No other family members, friends, office associates or any other person may participate on the winner’s behalf. If the Prize becomes unavailable for any reason, the Promoter may substitute a prize of equal or greater value.

Privacy Collection Statement   

By submitting an entry, participants consent to receive promotional and marketing communications from the Promoter (including electronic messages for an unlimited period). Participants may opt out at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions or by emailing [email protected].

The Promoter and its related entities collect personal information for the purpose of conducting and promoting this Giveaway. Information may be disclosed to New Zealand regulatory authorities. Personal information will otherwise be handled in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy available at
https://hotspring.co.nz/cookie-policy/. Requests to access or update personal information or lodge a complaint can be made via [email protected].

Copyright, Statutory Guarantees, Waiver and Liability   

In participating in the Giveaway, the winner agrees to participate in promotional activities including interviews, photography and filming. The winner grants the Promoter a perpetual, non-exclusive licence to use this material worldwide without compensation.

The Promoter reserves the right to amend, cancel or suspend the Giveaway if circumstances beyond its control affect fairness or integrity. Computer-generated entries or scripted entries are prohibited.

Any costs associated with accessing the promotional website are the participant’s responsibility.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits the statutory consumer guarantees under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, Fair Trading Act 1986, or any other applicable New Zealand consumer protection laws.

Except for liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter excludes all liability for loss, damage or injury arising from participation in the Giveaway or use of the Prize.

The Giveaway and these Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
