The best spa pool for three people will have at least three seats, but maybe more, as more seats mean more volume and more personal space, and can come in handy when you entertain.

On top of measuring spa pools by seat count, you can also use external dimensions or volume – there’s a significant difference between the size of our Freeflow Tristar and Highlife Jetsetter 3 seater models, for example. Consider factors like available space, accessibility, privacy, ideal shape and proximity to your house when settling on your perfect size.

There are a wealth of factors that contribute to how much electricity a spa pool uses: the type of spa (size, features, build quality), location (local climate, protection from the elements), usage (frequency, temperature settings) and more.

You may be able to place a 3 person spa pool on a deck or balcony – it just depends on the strength of the structure.

It’s important to consider the weight of the spa when it’s filled with water and people. The Highlife Jetsetter LX, for example, goes from a dry weight of 235kg to a filled weight of 1425kg (based on 3x 80kg adults in the spa).

While a strong deck or balcony may be able to handle this weight, a professional like a structural engineer will be able to tell you that with confidence by assessing the structure.
